• Your journey will take you through high mountains, where you'll encounter strong, cold winds. It is essential to bring the following items:

  (i) Adequate woolen clothing
  (ii) A small umbrella (preferably secured with an elastic band around your head and supported by a chin strap)
  (iii) Windcheater
  (iv) Raincoat
  (v) Waterproof trekking shoes
  (vi) Torch
  (vii) Walking stick
  (viii) Cap (preferably a monkey cap)
  (ix) Gloves
  (x) Jacket
  (xi) Woolen socks
  (xii) Trousers (preferably waterproof)

  These items are crucial as the climate is highly unpredictable, with sudden shifts from sunny weather to rain and snow. Temperatures can drop abruptly to 5 degrees Celsius or lower.

  For women: Avoid sarees during the Yatra. Opt for a Salwar Kameez, pant-shirt, or a tracksuit instead. Pregnant women beyond 6 weeks should refrain from undertaking the pilgrimage due to its challenging nature.

  In consideration of the trek's difficulty, children under 13 and individuals over 75 years old are not permitted to join the pilgrimage.

  Adhere strictly to instructions from the Yatra administration. Do not halt at locations marked with warning notices, and avoid taking shortcuts, as they can be hazardous.

  The base camp and Yatra routes are revered as the abode of Shri Amarnathji, encompassing earth, water, air, fire, and sky—integral to Lord Shiva. Respect the environment throughout your pilgrimage and ensure no pollution.

  Dispose of all waste materials in the nearest dustbin, with organic waste placed in green-colored bins.

  For the first night's stay, accommodation may be arranged in Srinagar or Sonmarg based on helicopter ticket timing.

  Hotels and helicopter tickets are subject to availability. Services listed in the itinerary are confirmed upon booking. In case of helicopter service cancellation due to bad weather or technical reasons, guests are responsible for additional accommodation costs. Transportation charges apply on a per-day basis.

  Additional Requirements:

• Yatra Permit: Not required for helicopter travelers; registration at designated bank branches.
• Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC): Issued by authorized doctors or medical institutions as per state/UT guidelines.
• Valid Photo IDs: Accepted forms include a Passport, Driving License, Election Card, PAN Card, PSU, and School Photo IDs issued by the government.
