** Before the firefly tour begins, you'll have the option to dine at a renowned seafood restaurant located near the waterfront (at your own expense)
** Located just 2.5 km from Kuala Selangor Nature Park and Bukit Melawati, Pasir Penambang serves as the primary departure point for firefly excursions. This half-hour boat tour along the Selangor River allows you to observe the luminescent fireflies up close. Midway through the journey, the boat pauses at a station to enhance your viewing experience
** The fireflies you'll see belong predominantly to the 'Pteroptyx tener' species, which is part of the beetle family. These 5mm-long insects gather at night on berembang trees, a variety of mangrove that thrives in the brackish waters along the Selangor River
** To conclude your night, your driver will drive you back to your Kuala Lumpur hotel, aiming to get you there between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm
