** Driver and Guide will pick you up at your hotel or at our office. You will visit Cu Chi tunnels first with a driving time of 1.5 hours. Along the way you will see local people's houses, rice fields and even flocks of ducks and water buffalo swimming in the rivers along both sides of the road.
** The Cu Chi Tunnels are a network of underground tunnels. The tunnels were used as military bases against US forces during the Vietnam War and are often used as hiding spots or espionage operations.
** After having lunch at a local restaurant we will depart from Cu Chi to My Tho city in two hours by car. Upon arrival in My Tho city, the Boat takes you to the coconut island in Ben Tre, where you completely escape the bustling city to mingle with nature. Stop by a local family to enjoy tropical fruits, taste honey tea, mead wine, eat fruit and listen to traditional Vietnamese music (don ca tai tu)
** Continue walking on the village path to the coconut candy factory, learn how to make the candy, and see lots of souvenirs handmade from different parts of the coconut tree. Walking the village road you will see many kinds of fruit trees, local people's houses and children coming home from school. Take the time to immerse yourself in nature and take beautiful photos of this land.
** Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
