－Itinerary－

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao

• 10:00 - 10:30: Tour guide will pick you up at Con Dao airport and take you from the airport to Con Son town. On the way, the guide will explain to you about some famous spots such as Co Ong village, Lo Voi Department, Hang Keo Cemetery...
• 11:30 - 12:00: Arrive in Con Son town, have lunch, check in at the hotel and take a rest.
• 13:00 - 13:30: Tour guide will pick you up and start to visit places in the south of Con Dao such as:

- The Palace of the Island (Dinh Chua Dao): Listen to the history of Con Dao and some outstanding historical events here.

- Phu Hai Prison: This is a prison built by the French colonialist, very famous and long-standing. This prison camp is recorded by many historical books, where there is a rice milling cellar, a special cell, and a breaking-up rock area.

- French tiger cages - Phu Tho camp: Through the reconstructed models of the vestiges left, you will understand why this place was considered as "hell on earth". The prison system of prisoners (tiger cages) here is solidly built like a maze. This is the focal point of Con Dao prison, where prisoners during the war endure various forms of painful and brutal physical torture.

- American tiger cages - Phu Binh camp: This area has rows of narrow and damp cells, built in 1971. If the "French tiger cages" were places where prisoners were physically tortured, this was the place for mental torture.

- The isolated cow shed: During the French and American invasion, this place was used to raise cows was also used to torture prisoners. Prisoners sent to this area were all soaked in cow dung cells.

- Mrs. Phi Yen temple (or An Son Temple): is the resting place of Mrs. Hoang Phi Yen. The spiritual stories told in the land of Con Dao, besides the stories about Vo Thi Sau, there are also thrilling stories about Mrs. Phi Yen. Listen a story about her legend that word-of-mouth up to now: “Wind take cabbage tree to the sky, Persicaria odorata stay earthly to bite the bullet”.

• 16:30 - 17:00: You will be back to the hotel to rest and have dinner.
• 19:30: You are free to walk around Con Dao beach. If not, you can sit in front of Cong Quan to enjoy coffee, listen to music and watch the sea.
• 23:30: Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting place, you will visit Hang Duong Cemetery, a famous spiritual cemetery in Con Dao, where there are nearly 2000 tombs. You visit the memorials, the graves of martyrs and the grave of Ms. Vo Thi Sau.
• Next, you will come to incense at the Pier 914. After that, you will be back to the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Con Dao

• 08:30: After having breakfast, the car and guide will pick you up to go to the port. Wear a life jacket and start the journey on the sea.
• Admire the beautiful scenery of Con Son Bay with Bong Lan, Tho, Tai and Trat island which are the convergence of coral reefs with the highest density in Vietnam.
• Visit Bay Canh Island which is also the largest turtle sanctuary in Vietnam. Swim in Bai Cat Lon beach.
• 12:00: Prepare BBQ lunch on the beach. You can enjoy the BBQ while swimming.
• Discover Con Dao mangrove forest  distributed mainly on the surface of dead coral reef, sand and soft clay. Learn about the life of “tank crabs” which are only found in Con Dao.
• 17:00: Return to Con Son town and back to the hotel.
• Have dinner and be free to visit Con Dao city.

• The car and tour guide will take you to the North of the island (about 12 km). Explore Dam Trau beach - one of the beautiful and pristine beaches of Con Dao.
• Visit Dinh Cau Temple - a place of worship a son of Lord Nguyen Anh (Nguyen Dynasty)
• Relax and swim at Dam Trau beach. Have BBQ on the beach.
• Return to Con Son town, have dinner and free to explore Con Dao at night.

Day 3: Con Dao - Ho Chi Minh City

• 08:00: Have breakfast. Free to visit and shop for souvenirs at Con Dao market.
• Return to the hotel to check out (the latest is 12:00). Car will take you to Con Dao airport and back to Ho Chi Minh city.
