Day 1
** Depart for Cai Be (around 3 hours driving). On our dedicated bus/car you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizontal.
** Arrive in Cai Be. You'll board a motorized boat, pass by Cai Be floating market to the seasonable fruits garden. Spend your time experiencing interactions that can't be found elsewhere in the world.
** Then travel on foot to explore the coconut candy and crispy rice cake factories. Have your sips of premium hot tea (served for free) and feel free to buy some authentic souvenirs, such as coconut candy or handcrafted items made from coconut trees of the Mekong Delta
** After that, join a trip on the large motor boat for something different in Tan Phong Island. It is well-known for having fresh fruits the whole year. On the way, we have a chance to immerse in the beauty of the riverbank and discover the life of rural people in the Mekong Delta
** Time for lunch! Let's go to the local people's house for that (in the seasonable fruits garden)
** After the rest, move into small groups for the small row boat trip. During this 20 minutes trip, your boat will zigzag through a maze of shadow canals. Enjoy the fresh air and the wonderful landscape full of water coconut trees along the canal. Then, you can ride bicycles (optional - depends on weather and time permit), roam through the village road in about 20 minutes for a natural view and the peaceful countryside atmosphere. You can also relax on a hammock for some inner peace in Mekong Delta.
** Get back to the boat station for the next stop - the local market. We will take a walk here to have a sense of the traditional Vietnamese marketplace. Don't miss your opportunity to interact with loving and respectful local merchants and get many interesting thing for just a little amount of money.
** Get back to Ho Chi Minh city
