Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and meeting day + Chiang Rai Street foods (Dinner)

• Afternoon: Arrive at Chiang Rai international airport. 
• Transfer to your hotel in Chiang Rai. 
• Enjoy exploring street foods in Chiang Rai as well as dinner. 
• Afterward, return to the hotel.

Day 2: Morning: The White Temple, Mae Salong hill, and tea plantation (Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)

• Have your breakfast at your hotel.
• Check out and depart to visit a famous white temple at Wat Rong Khun. 
• Lunch: Lunch at the local Thai restaurant nearby.
• Afternoon: Continue driving to visit a famous tea plantation at Doi Mae Salong.
• Enroute visit Mae Salong pagoda and KMT memorial hall.
• Then, check in at the local resort.
• Dinner: You can enjoy delicious Chinese Yunnan cuisine.

 Day 3: Trekking Ban Na To and Akha Homestay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

• Morning: Breakfast at the resort, check out, and then depart to Ban Nato (about a 1-hour drive). 
• Upon arrival in Ban Nato meet with a local guide.
• Lunch: will be prepared at the farmer's hut
• Afternoon: Transfer to Ban Pong Hai where we will spend time with the Akha family. 
• Meet our host, check in the homestay, and then afterward start village walking to learn.
• End of the day takes a break n bath. 
• Dinner: Evening enjoys traditional Akha cuisine and enjoys chatting with family.

Day 4: Hall of Opium, Golden Triangle, Chiang Saen (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

• Morning: Breakfast at homestay, pack up and say goodbye to your host family. 
• Afterward, depart to visit a famous Golden Triangle area (Thailand-Myanmar-Laos). 
• This morning we will visit “The Hall of Opium”.
• Lunch: at a local Thai restaurant
• Afternoon: Take this opportunity to enjoy a longtail boat trip and cross the Mekong river to visit the Laos market.
• Afterward, visit Chiang Saen's old town area and head back to Chiang Rai city for your last night.
• Evening: Dinner at a local Thai restaurant.

Day 5: Departure day

• Morning: Breakfast at your hotel.
• Transfer to Chiang Rai International Airport
