Itinerary

• 7:30 AM / 1:30 PM - Pickup from Bangkok. (You can book your meal while boarding the bus)
• 9:30 AM/ 3:30 PM - Visit Wat Mahathat, built in the 13th century, it is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya, housing the Buddha's holy relic.
• 10:15 AM/4:15 PM - Next go to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, also known as the "Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory," this temple features a high prang (tower) dominating the area. Built in the second half of the 14th century during the reign of King U Thong, it remains active with monks living on the premises. The large chedi, built at the end of the 16th century, gave the monastery its current name. Destroyed in 1767, it has since been restored and is a great place to visit.
• 10:45 AM/4:45 PM - Our next destination will be, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, one of the most iconic and well-preserved temples in Ayutthaya, known for its impressive Khmer-style architecture and scenic riverside location. A popular spot for late afternoon and sunset visits, locals in traditional clothing often gather here for evening prayers. Keep an eye out for bats inside the buildings at sunset. Despite ongoing restoration on one of the stupas, it does not hinder the sunset view. Return in the evening to enjoy the illuminated temple.
• 10:45 AM/4:45 PM - Join us for a 100-year heritage cruise around Ayutthaya. Witness the best sights, including local villages, ruins, the ancient city, pagodas, and temples, all from the comfort of the boat. Preorder meals on the bus so you can enjoy delicious meals during the boating experience.
• 11:45 AM/5:45 PM - Visit Wat Chaiwathanaram, best experienced in the nighttime ambiance.
