Landmarks:

1. Wat Pho or Reclining Buddha: The 46 meter long Reclining Buddha is recognized by UNESCO under the Memory of the World Programme. Wat Pho is the first on the list of six temples in Thailand classified as the highest grade of first class royal temples.

2. Ton Son Mosque: “Ton Son,” the Thai name for the twin pine tree, refers to a tree that was planted in front of the mosque’s gate and walls. The mosque was built during the Ayutthaya period, dating back to 1688.

3. Bang Luang Mosque: Built in 1767 along the Bang Luang Canal, this is one of the oldest Thai mosques, featuring traditional Thai architectural style. The mosque has 30 minarets, said to symbolize the 30 chapters of the Holy Quran, and its interior reflects tri ethnic art.

4. Haroon Masjid: This Indonesian mosque was developed in the 18th century. It is named after Haroon Bafadel, an Indonesian national who initiated the construction of the mosque.

Sightseeing:

1. Chinatown: Bangkok’s Chinatown is one of the largest Chinatown areas in the world. It is a popular tourist attraction and a food haven, especially after sunset, when visitors explore its vibrant street side cuisine.

2. Indiatown: Known as Little India, this area is home to many residents of South Asian descent. A Sikh community settled here more than a century ago and established a textile trading center that continues to thrive. The golden domed Siri Guru Singh Sabha Temple is a key landmark of Phahurat.

3. Flower Market: As the largest flower market in Bangkok, the Bangkok Flower Market is the best place to explore a wide variety of fresh flowers.

4. Chao Phraya River: A major river flowing through the center of the country, it passes through Bangkok and continues into the Gulf of Thailand.

Itinerary

• 08:00 – 08:30 AM: Pick up from various hotels in Bangkok. In case of a join tour, we pick up from 4 hotels and it may be delayed as per Bangkok traffic conditions. However, in case of private tours, our pick up reaches 15 minutes before the time.
• We pick up from most of the hotels located in the center of the city. In case your hotel is out of the main center of the city, extra charges will be applied, or we will pick you up from our Sun Leisure World office at the 17th floor, Phaya Thai Plaza, Phaya Thai Road, next to Phaya Thai BTS gate number 01. However, we must have a confirmed booking at least 24 hours before the tour to arrange the pick up.
• 08:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Start our day with the Gate of China, a famous selfie spot. Walk around the Chinese landmark statue just a few meters away from the Golden Buddha Temple and take some memorable selfies.
• 09:00 AM – 09:15 AM: A slow ride through Chinatown in Bangkok traffic.
• 09:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit Indiatown and take some selfies at Indiatown of Bangkok.
• 10:30 AM – 10:45 AM: Visit the Flower Market and enjoy a selfie shoot before we go to the Reclining Buddha, and take more pictures at the Reclining Buddha.
• 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Visit Ton Son Mosque and pray at the mosque.
• 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Visit the Haroon Mosque.
• 01:00 PM – 01:30 PM: Visit Bang Luang Mosque.
• 01:00 PM – 01:30 PM: Halal set meal at a certified halal restaurant.
• Return to hotel.
